Multi-Grammy winner Adele’s worldwide hit album 21 turns 24 this week. The album just made its way back to the top of the Billboard 200 albums sales chart, marking the 24^th week it has been perched at the pinnacle of the weekly sales survey. The UK singer’s superb album now holds the distinction of tying Prince’s Purple Rain and the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack, both of which held the No. 1 position for 24 weeks. The all-time record holder for holding onto No. 1 is the West Side Story soundtrack which held on to No. 1 for a staggering 54 weeks.
