Feeding the Students

Lynn Cianci, a Food Service Worker for the Washington Township School District in New Jersey, is the latest education support professional to be featured on 95.7 BEN-FM.

During her 19 years as an educational support professional, she says that she always loves the challenge of preparing and serving delicious, appealing meals to her students, but she also shares that the best part of her job is interacting with her students. Since her students know her so well, she has become a trusted confidant who can lend a sympathetic ear. Whether it's giving advice, directing them to visit the guidance councilor, or simply listening, she says its important to let the students know they have a whole team of school employees looking out for them.
