Sheena  Monnin, Miss Pennsylvania resigned from the Miss Universe Organization. She claims that last Sunday’s Miss USA pageant was fixed. Monnin wrote a resignation letter that states, “In good conscience I can no longer be affiliated in any way with an organization I consider to be fraudulent, lacking in morals, inconsistent, and in many ways trashy." Monnin accused the pageant of being rigged because a contestant said she knew who was in the Top 5 before the show even aired. The owner of the Miss Universe Organization, Donald Trump denies Monnin’s “ridiculous accusations” and is threatening to sue. Trump told Good Morning America yesterday that "She made a very false charge and she knows it was a false charge. We’re going to bring a lawsuit ... She said some really strong things. When she’s using the word ‘fraud,’ that’s pretty strong, so we’re going to be suing her on that basis." Trump also expressed to GMA about the accusation that the pageant is rigged, “It's absolutely ridiculous. She lost and if you look at her compared to the people who were in the top 15, you would understand why she's not in the top 15. It's a very, very sad situation."
