Chris Brown’s New Record Coming in September
Now that Chris Brown is a free man, and he’s launching a full-scale comeback this September.
Next month, the embattled singer will release his sixth studio album, “X,” according to Hip Hop DX.
Brown released the first single, “Fine China,” last year, when the record was originally due out for release.
Despite the delay, he is still believed to be teaming up with Kendrick Lamar for a track entitled “Autumn Leaves.”
“If you’re in your car riding, it’s perfect,” he told MTV in 2013. “It just feels like a weather record – an emotional record. I feel a certain way when I hear it.”
Brown, who was released from prison earlier this year, opened up about making “a lot of mistakes” in his life.
“But through it all I’ve always been true to myself and through God I’ve been able to take care of my family,” he shared in an Instagram post of him in a prison jumpsuit. “I should regret some things but I think the lessons learned will shape me into a real man.”
As for other new music from the R&B star, Fabolous revealed last week that Brown would contribute to a track on “Loso’s Way 2: Rise to Power.”
