Top 5 Celebs We Wish Were on Twitter
As the times have changed, so has the way we communicate. Twitter seems to be at the forefront of the social media buzz these days. Sadly, not all famous people have joined in on the fun. Here are the top five celebrities we wish were on Twitter:
1. George Clooney
George Clooney isn’t known as a funnyman, but people are interested in just about everything he’s up to, from his latest movie to his charity work, not to mention his new engagement. There seem to be more parody accounts of him than anybody else. Besides, who wouldn’t want to feel like Clooney was their BFF – virtual or otherwise?
2. Bill Murray
People crave Bill’s Twitter presence so much that one of his parody accounts has more than 386 thousand followers. It’s time for the real Bill Murray to please stand up and join all of us on Twitter. Otherwise, he can just apply his take on RSVP-ing to bachelor parties and simply just show up on other celebs’ feeds.
3. Tina Fey
There aren’t too many celebrities that are more loved and respected than the hilarious “30 Rock” and “Mean Girls” scribe, and that’s why we’d do anything to have her on Twitter. We’d probably even settle for recycled Liz Lemon lines. But for as much as we’d love to see her tweeting, the company’s CEO wishes the in-demand star would join up even more.
4. Dave Chappelle
He is one of funniest humans in the world. He tried tweeting in 2012 but gave it up after someone hacked his account. Prior to the hack he had tweeted that he “Must…Keep…tweeting.” Oh, we really wish he had. Only 11 tweets were posted on his official page but you can just tell that this guy would have been a fun follow for sure.
5. Oscar Wilde/ Audrey Hepburn/ Dorothy Parker
OK, we’re kind of cheating with this one, in no small part because all three of these icons have passed away. But since so many people quote them online anyway, we might as well have the real thing.
