“American Horror Story” Writer Confirms Carnival Setting
It’s official: “American Horror Story” is headed to the circus.
More specifically, the show’s fourth season will – as rumored by bans – take place at a creepy carnival, “The Huffington Post” reports.
During a Nerdist Writers Panel podcast, co-executive producer Douglas Petrie affirmed another TV writer when she asked, “Well, I don’t know if it’s true, but I heard carnival.”
“Yes – that was the – it, it does not have a title,” he responded. When prodded further, he added, “That’s the idea, that’s very roughly the idea.
Creator Ryan Murphy previously teased that the show will take place in the ‘50s and Jessica Lange has been working on her German accent.
FX's “American Horror Story: Coven” wrapped earlier this year to the show’s highest rated finale to date. The fourth season is expected to debut this fall.
