Tina Fey Responds to “Mean Girls” Sequel Rumors
Slow down, Lindsay Lohan!
LiLo may have been eager to say she’d love to reunite with her former “Mean Girls” cast, but writer-star Tina Fey shot down the sequel rumors started by the embattled actress’s comments.
“We’re coming up next month on the 10-year anniversary of the original movie… I can’t believe it either,” Fey told “Extra.” “We’re going to see if there’s any way to get everyone together, but not a movie, sadly. We’re all past high school age.”
Lindsay herself has already had two quick run-ins with her former co-stars. She ran into Daniel Franzese, who played Damien, in New York, and not long after ran into him again, along with Rajiv Surendra (Kevin G).
Fey has been busy developing new series since her NBC series “30 Rock” came to an end. For her part, Lohan is set to star in a new psychological thriller later this year and has her own docuseries, “Lindsay,” on OWN.
