Sheriff Seeks Felony Prosecution in Bieber’s Egging Scandal
If 2013 belonged to Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber is already staking his claim on 2014 – at least when it comes to media coverage.
The 19-year-old star is facing a felony vandalism charge over the alleged egging of his neighbor’s home, according to TMZ.
“I went to the D.A.’s Office today with the paperwork, and I want a felony. Of course I want a felony,” Lt. Dave Thompson told TMZ.
In normal circumstances, the egging of someone’s house is certainly a nuisance, but in this case, the damage is believed to be around $20,000.
A decision is expected to come down in about a week, but it could mark another felony charge on Bieber’s not-so-unblemished legal record.
The singer is also facing charges in Miami on suspicion of DUI, driving on an expired license and resisting arrest, as well as an assault charge in Toronto.
What do you think of the potential felony charge for the egging incident? Is it piling on or is it tough love for the Biebs? Let us know in the comments!
