“Ellen” Will Go Live After the Oscars

As if Ellen DeGeneres didn’t have enough on her plate with her Oscar hosting gig coming in less than a month, the prolific talk show host is taking on another challenge.

According to “The Hollywood Reporter,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” will go live on March 3, the day after the Academy Awards.

Ellen has done her show live twice in the past, both in celebration of some of Hollywood’s biggest awards ceremonies.

“That means when you see me on the Oscars on Sunday night, you’re gonna be like, ‘I wonder what she was thinking when that person did that thing?’ or ‘What does Meryl Streep smell like, really?’ and I can tell you the next day,” she said on the show (via “THR”).

The star also took into account that fact that she might be burning the candle at both ends.

“I will be delirious from staying up all night long,” she told the crowd. “Not really sure what condition I’ll be in. I may be in my pajamas. I sleep naked.”

Ellen, who has taken center stage on the Oscars once before, will host the show on Sunday, March 2. Are you excited for her to host again? Will you tune in for her live show? Weigh in below!
