The Ice Bucket Challenge is benefiting from some major star power.
The latest celebrities taking part in the viral ALS fundraiser include Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift, along with Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez.
Gaga pledged $10,000 to the foundation and took part in the challenge, going on to nominate Adele and the cast of “Chicago Fire,” which includes her boyfriend, Taylor Kinney.
Gomez, meanwhile, took the opportunity to enlist a few of her famous friends, namely model Cara Delevigne, James Franco and Bradley Cooper’s girlfriend, Suki Waterhouse.
The “Wizards of Waverly Place” alum wasn’t alone, as Bieber, her on-again, off-again boyfriend, took the opportunity to show off his physique by taking the challenge shirtless.
Her pal Taylor Swift upped the ante by taking the challenge as a group, along with actress Jaime King.
As of August 17, the ALS Association has already received $15.6 million dollars, a major increase over last year’s $1.8 million at this time.
