E.D.I. Mean Talks Jermaine Dupri's Chris Brown-Tupac Comparison

Outlawz rapper
E.D.I. Mean has some thoughts on Jermaine Dupri’s recent comments alleging that Chris Brown will become “more famous than Tupac.”

In an interview with Vlad TV, he explained that he gets where Dupri was coming from, as Tupac is “the benchmark” against which success is measured.

“When people talk about being big and being famous and being legendary and impacting the world, that’s the benchmark right there,” he explained to Vlad TV. “It’s him, Bob, Martin, Malcolm, Jesus… Michael. Absolutely. But it’s a very short list.”

While E.D.I. Mean says people expect him to “take it personal,” he’s not dissing Dupri and added that he enjoys Brown’s music.

“I wish him well in what he do,” he added. “And I hope he don’t got to go through half the s*** Pac went through.”
