15 months after the tragic events of the Boston Marathon bombings, one of the survivors got some great news: he’s a new dad!

Jeff Bauman revealed on Facebook that he and his wife Erin welcomed a daughter, Nora Gail Bauman.

Nora was born on Sunday, July 13, with Bauman noting, “Everyone is happy and healthy!”

Bauman was one of the most high-profile survivors following the attack.

After losing both of his legs at the 2013 Boston Marathon, he chronicled his healing journey in a book, “Stronger,” which was released in conjunction with the one-year anniversary of the bombings.

That’s not all, because Lionsgate revealed this week that they’re planning to adapt “Stronger” into a feature film.

According to “Variety,” the movie will center on his transformation from “an aimless deli counter worker to a man driven with ambition and full of love.”
