Shailene Woodley seems to be best friends with everyone in Hollywood.
The “Fault in Our Stars” actress is BFFs with Brie Larson, she divulged to “Vanity Fair” she’s currently crashing at Laura Dern’s house, and she and Ansel Elgort – who she costars with in “TFIOS” and “Divergent” – get along like gangbusters.
In the same “Vanity Fair” piece, she also shared her thoughts on Miley Cyrus, as she doesn’t get the controversy surrounding the star.
“Miley isn’t rude or mean or cruel to anyone in her actions. She just does herself. And regardless of whether you agree with what she’s doing or not, it’s none of your business what she does,” she told “Vanity Fair.” “Why are all these parents or all these people freaking out about Miley being herself?”
Shailene’s advice is to let the parents decide if they can listen to Miley’s music and focus more on the bullying that happens in schools.
The self-proclaimed hunter-gatherer also denied that she shares Miley’s passion for marijuana after being questioned about her habits while hiking.
“[The guy] was in his 40s, and he was like – you know, back when I was growing up, like if you sort of had these alternative-lifetsyle ways, it meant that you were a total pothead.”
