has emerged from rehab like a phoenix, joining ABC’s “Rising Star” and revamping her image – without the dollar sign.

Now she’s covering the latest issue of “Teen Vogue,” and she opened up about her decision to get help for an eating disorder in January.

“My eating disorder is something I’ve been struggling with for a while,” she told “Teen Vogue.” “People will make up stories, but I went to rehab for an eating disorder – nothing more and nothing less.”

The pop star may seem a bit like a different person, but she’s definitely not any less forthright.

Kesha revealed that aside from the public scrutiny about her body, recording “Warrior” was “a pretty miserable process” as she tried to fight for the record she wanted to make.

“…[I]n the end I was promoting something that wasn’t the animal I wanted it to be,” she explained to “Teen Vogue.” “I decided to face my problem head-on.”

Not only that did she learn to, her own advice about self-empowerment and never letting the haters get you down but Kesha managed to write more than a dozen new songs.

So get ready for something new from the “Timber” singer very soon and read more of her interview over at!
