Everyone in Hollywood got their big break from someone, but more than a few owe their fame to former Bravo programming guru (and current “Watch What Happens Live” host) Andy Cohen. In honor of Andy’s 46th birthday, here are five celebs who owe him a thank you:
1. Lisa Vanderpump, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”
It seems like Lisa is always at the center of a controversy, but that’s why people love her (or love to hate her). She’s either starting trouble or consoling others when problems arise. With rumors that she might not return for the next season, we can honestly say “RHOBH” just wouldn’t be the same without her – or Giggy, for that matter. Did we mention she can dance?
2. Bethenny Frankel, “Real Housewives of New York City”
This former “New York” Housewife is everywhere, and Ellen loves her, so why shouldn’t we? Since leaving "RHONY," she has literally appeared in two shows that solely focus on her professional and personal life. With her daytime talk show coming to an end after one season, does that mean we’ll be getting “Bethenny Getting Divorced” on Bravo next? Also, the pint-sized beauty is pretty darn good at doing pushups.
3. NeNe Leakes, “Real Housewives of Atlanta”
NeNe has a big personality, and it’s difficult not to appreciate this women. We don’t have enough fingers to count how many showbiz talents she has: from acting to dancing to stirring up trouble on a weekly basis in ATL. That’s not to mention the fact that NeNe seems utterly fearless. Who would ever pick a fight with Dionne Warwick? NeNe would:
4. Tabatha Coffey, “Tabatha Takes Over”
It’s never a messy hair day for this reality show queen. Tabatha may be outspoken and intense, but it’s always coming from a desire to help. She seems normal just like the rest of us, except for the part about having her own show on Bravo. Thanks Tabatha for just being you, and because without her, we’d never have Kate McKinnon’s stellar “SNL” impression.
5. Patti Stanger, “Millionaire Matchmaker”
Most people could use some solid relationship advice, and no one is better at dishing out the truth than Patti. The matchmaking is entertaining and funny with a good sense of humor, unless you get on her bad side. Brutally honest would best describe Patti, but let’s be honest: some of her charges could use a little constructive criticism. Here’s Patti talking (to Bethenny!) about the biggest dating issues men have? This should be fun.
