Eminem Apologizes to Mom in Duet with fun. Singer

It’s a Mother’s Day miracle!

Eminem finally seems ready to forgive and forget all the drama with his mother, and what better time to do it than the most mom-centric day of the year.

On Sunday, the rapper posted a video for a new song, “Headlights,” on which he collaborated with fun. singer Nate Ruess.

The video was directed by Spike Lee and features recreated scenes of his life, as described in the emotional track.

“I went in head-first, never thinking about who what I said hurt, in what verse. My mom probably got it the worst. The brunt of it, but as stubborn as we are, did I take it too far?” he raps.

In it, the rapper references the song “Cleaning Out My Closet,” perhaps the most famous condemnation of his mother.

The singer gets even more real about his father and brother, even going so far as to say “I’m sorry, Mama.”

Eminem will head out this summer with Rihanna on their joint Monster Tour. Check out the video (which features NSFW language) and sound off in the comments!
