Sorry, NBC fans, but Must-See TV is over.
That couldn’t be more clear this week, as the casts of two of the most iconic Thursday night hits of the late ‘90s have publicly denied rumors of a reunion.
Courteney Cox stopped by “The Late Show with David Letterman,” where she explained why a “Friends” reunion is not in the cards.
“It’s not gonna happen… Let me tell you something: there’s six friends and I’ve been trying to put together a cast dinner for 10 years. It doesn’t happen,” she said.
From there, the Internet turned to another Thursday night staple, “Will & Grace,” for a much hoped-for TV special.
According to BuzzFeed, a rep for NBC said that there was “no truth” to the reports, adding, “I can’t speak for ‘ever’ but there are no talks right now.
Sean Hayes, who starred as Jack McFarland on the hit for eight seasons, also weighed in on Twitter:
If you could choose, which cast of a cancelled TV series would you like to see reunite?
