Pierce Brosnan: My James Bond Was “Never Good Enough”

Everyone has their opinion of their favorite James Bond, and former 007 Pierce Brosnan is no exception.

Speaking with “The Telegraph,” Brosnan revealed that in his esteem, he was nowhere near the best James Bond.

“I felt I was caught in a time warp between Roger [Moore] and Sean [Connery],” he said, adding, “I have no desire to watch myself as James Bond. ‘Cause it’s just never good enough – it’s a horrible feeling.”

The veteran British actor starred in four of the films, starting with 1995’s “GoldenEye” and closing things out with 2002’s “Die Another Day.”

Yet Brosnan didn’t comment much on the latest iteration of the 007 franchise, which stars Daniel Craig.

A follow-up to 2012’s “Skyfall” is currently in the works, with Penelope Cruz rumored to be in the running for the newest “Bond Girl.”
