Now that a “Veronica Mars” movie has become a reality, it might be time next to resurrect that show’s former Tuesday night timeslot buddy, “Gilmore Girls.”
During a Reddit AMA to promote the paperback release of her bestselling novel, “Someday, Someday, Maybe,” Lauren Graham seemed pretty gung-ho about the idea for a big screen adaptation of the beloved CW dramedy.
“Yes, IF a movie version could be as good as we’d all want it to be, I’d love to play that character again,” she said (via E! News).
Though Graham has bonded a great deal with her new TV kids on “Parenthood,” played by real-life roomies Mae Whitman and Miles Heizer, she says she and her former TV daughter are still close.
“Love her, we’ll always have a special bond. Saw her in NY not too long ago,” she wrote. “I had a nice lunch with TV mom Kelly [Bishop] and [“Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino] as well.”
As for comparisons between herself and Lorelei Gilmore, the actress admits that she’s equally addicted to coffee, stating, “Sadly, yes. I drink it all day.”
