J.K. Rowling will clearly never leave the wizarding world of “Harry Potter.”
The author published the first chapter of a new story set in that world on her Pottermore website this week, “The Wrap” reports.
Though Harry himself is not the focus of the story, the tale does center on one of his favorite activities: Quidditch.
More specifically, the 2,400-word story was written about the Quidditch World Cup, giving some very detailed description of the past scandals of the centuries-long tradition.
Rowling is taking on an even bigger challenge in the wizarding world with her next film project.
Though she did not pen any of the scripts for the “Harry Potter” film series, she is adapting her own “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” book into a feature film.
Casting on the project has not been completed, though the franchise’s original cast is not expected to appear.
