Two pop icons collided this month when Lady Gaga paid a visit to Britney Spears during one of her Las Vegas shows.
Gaga came backstage at the February 1 concert, and the pair even took a picture together.
But beyond that, “Us Weekly” reports that Mother Monster and Brit -- who is already familiar with Gaga's Jo Calderone persona -- are planning a duet, with a source telling “Us,” “It’ll happen soon.”
If so, the duet would follow up Rihanna and Shakira’s scorching new single, “Can’t Remember to Forget You.”
Gaga has a history of singing with other pop singers, including a recent version of “Do What U Want” with Christina Aguilera and “Telephone” with Beyonce.
In a new interview with “Harpers Bazaar,” she expressed her desire to put 2013 behind her after some behind-the-scenes drama and a so-so debut for “Artpop.”
“I became very depressed at the end of 2013,” she said, adding, “But January 1, I woke up, started crying again, and I looked in the mirror and said, ‘I know you don’t want to fight. I know you think you can’t, but you’ve done this before.”
