The superhero movie boom isn’t dying down anytime soon.
“Thor” producer Craig Kyle is stepping up his game, signing on to co-write the script for the third film in the Chris Hemsworth-starring franchise.
According to Marvel, he will write the “next installment” with his collaborator of many years, Christopher Yost.
“[Craig’s] creative instincts have helped shape ‘Thor’ and ‘Thor: The Dark World’ at every level of the filmmaking process,” “Dark World” producer Kevin Feige shared. “The entire team at Marvel is very happy to continue collaborating with Craig as he continues as a screenwriter working with Christopher on the forthcoming chapter of Thor’s adventure.”
Hemsworth is also set to reprise his role of Thor in next year’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” just one of many Marvel films coming down the pipeline.
“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” opens this April, with another sequel likely to come, along with a “Guardians of the Galaxy” is due out in August” and a Paul Rudd-starring “Ant-Man” is set for release in 2015.
