Justin Bieber was reportedly arrested Thursday morning on charges of driving under the influence and drag racing.
“The Miami Herald” reports that the young singer was picked up by Miami Beach Police leaving a club in Florida.
The police department’s official Twitter account confirms the arrest, with ABC alleging that Bieber was speeding in a Lamborghini and failed a field sobriety test.
“When the cars are going that fast, it takes awhile to catch up,” MBPD Chief Raymond Martinez told the “Herald.”
Bieber reportedly told police that he was under the influence of marijuana, “had a beer,” and was taking anti-depressants.
According to the police report, he was driving on an expired Georgia drivers license and yelled at police, "I ain't got no f***ing weapons. Why do you have to search me? What the f*** is this about?"
The pop star’s arrest comes after his home was raided in an ongoing investigation into the egging of his neighbor’s home.
While Bieber has not been charged, his friend was arrested on possession of an illegal substance, which police originally believed to be cocaine but later learned it was the club drug MDMA, or “molly.”
