Gia Allemand: Mother Spoke with Her Just Before Suicide
Gia Allemand’s mother is doing as promised, opening up about the details of her daughter’s suicide to an outlet she felt comfortable with.
According to “Us Weekly,” Donna Micheletti sat down with Dr. Phil to discuss her late daughter, and she shared that she was on the phone with her daughter shortly before she took her own life.
“I’m the closest person in the world to her and she didn’t want to be alone when she left this world,” she told Dr. Phil. “So she wanted Mommy to be there, I guess.”
Still, Micheletti is upset that her daughter chose to abruptly end the call instead of allowing her mother to get help.
“It destroys me, but if it made her feel better, then that’s fine. I don’t mind dealing with this,” she added. “I’m really mad that she did this for no reason. In 12 hours it would have been fine. I’m really angry.”
After the call went silent, Micheletti called Allemand’s boyfriend, Ryan Anderson, who rushed home and found her too late.
