Dina Lohan Pleads Not Guilty to DUI, Reveals Memoir Plans
Dina Lohan appeared in court Tuesday morning and pleaded not guilty to the charges of driving under the influence.
TMZ reports that the famous mother of actress Lindsay Lohan showed up for her hearing. Her argue noted that she has no past criminal record, and the judge released her without bail.
Still, the judge suspended Lohan’s driver’s license after the incident in which she was arrested on September 12 in Long Island.
According to the official New York State Police report, the momager blew a .20 on the breathalyzer administered by police.
Lohan is due back in court on October 23 in the case, in which she has been charged with two DWI offenses and speeding.
Despite her arrest, Lohan is moving forward with a planned memoir, in which she will “address the rumors, misinformation and unsubstantiated stories often generated about her and her family by the press.”
Per the publisher’s statement, “Dina feels the public has often misunderstood her life and she has worked diligently over the past year to write this book, proving her dedication to truthfully and fairly represent herself and her children.”
