ABC's “Nashville” Gets Season 2 Sneak Preview
Now that summer is nearly over, it’s time for the networks to begin the fall television blitz ahead of their big September launches.
First up is a preview of “Nashville,” which returns for a second season on ABC next month, TVLine reports.
While the series was a modest ratings hit in the first season, the show garnered a great deal of critical success, even landing Connie Britton an Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series Emmy nomination for her role of Rayna.
In the new promo, however, Rayna has been hospitalized after the season-ending car accident, and she doesn’t seem to be doing so well.
Though we doubt the writers will kill off their critically-acclaimed lead, you never know what’s going to happen on “Nashville.”
The new promo also shows Deacon, who appears to have fared better than Rayna in the accident, an unchanged Juliet (Hayden Panettiere) and a possible new love interest for Gunnar.
“Nashville” returns to ABC on Wednesday, September 25 at 10pm.
