Britney Spears may be a pop icon, but that does not mean her career hasn’t had its ups and downs.
In a new interview with the U.K.’s “Telegraph,” the “Perfume” singer revealed her most embarrassing career moment: her 2005 reality series “Britney & Kevin: Chaotic” with then-hubby Kevin Federline.
“I would never do something like that again,” she says. “Actually, that was really bad. That was probably the worst thing I’ve done in my career.”
When asked about another maligned project, her acting debut in the 2002 film “Crossroads” with Zoe Saldana and Taryn Manning, Spears got defensive.
“No!” she jokingly shouted as she clutched “her hand to her heart.” “I like Crossroads! F*** you!”
Spears laughed, but during the interview, she also opened up about her breakup with fiancé Jason Trawick that fueled her personal new record.
“There are a lot of songs about heartbreak I can relate to because of the break-up I went through this year,” she said. “When you go through heartbreak, you just do the things that get you by. Eventually you realize it’s about making the most of life.”
For now, it seems like Britney is making the most of her own life with her two kids, a new boyfriend and a two-year residency in Las Vegas.
