Justin Bieber Charged by Brazilian Police After Graffiti Photos
Justin Bieber is having a rough week in South America.
While his team is putting out fires over rumors that a recently-released video shows the pop singer in bed with a prostitute, he is now facing criminal charges for tagging a building.
Perez Hilton reports that Bieber had gotten permission to graffiti one part of a building, but he allegedly broke the rules and is charged with “defacing a building or urban monument by graffiti or other means.”
“Authorization granted by the city did not extend to other location,” a statement from Rio De Janeiro police reads (via Perez Hilton).
Making matters worse, the singer posted four photos of himself tagging the building on Instagram, though one caption reads:
“Every place I have tagged has been approved I do not suggest tagging private property.. I still suck but I have fun doing it.”
The Biebs is reportedly facing a fine and up to a year in prison if he hopes to return to Brazil in the future, though it’s unlikely to go that far.
