Khloe Kardashian Addresses Lamar Odom Problems on TV: “You’re Not My Child”
After dancing around the issue for the past several weeks, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” finally “went there” with the troubled marriage between Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom.
Though the show has skirted the subject of Lamar’s alleged drug use, Sunday’s episode chronicled a family camping trip in which Khloe’s distance from Lamar became clearer.
“Lamar has been having a really hard time lately… There’s a lot of emotional issues and as much as I’m trying to enjoy going camping with my family, I also have to cater to Lamar’s needs,” she told the cameras (via “Life & Style”). ““It’s really scary when nothing’s really working, and then you know if you give up no one in his life would be able to help,” she added.
Later, Lamar called some of his wife’s relatives asking for her, seemingly trying to see if she was truly camping with her family. She then told the cameras, “I know it looks weird – I don’t know what to say.”
By the end of the episode, Khloe got a call saying that her husband had disappeared, which appeared not to be the first time.
“I’ve been down this road probably way more times than I’d like to admit. If someone wants to leave, they want to leave,” she said (via “L&S”). “You’re not my child, I can’t lock you in a room – as much as I would like to.”
