To prove that she loves her fans “Unconditionally,” Katy Perry has unveiled the new music video for her latest single.
After releasing a teaser earlier this week, the singer released the full four-minute video for “Unconditionally.”
In the video, Perry appears at what appears to be an Imperialist Russian ball set in the distant past, with couples dressed in period clothing dancing around her while snow falls.
The “Roar” singer appears to be on fire and is later struck by a car that shatters upon impact, leading to some confusion about the video on social video. In response, she tweeted:
In the past, the pop star admitted that the song was written about her boyfriend, John Mayer.
Perry recently released the first leg of her Prismatic World Tour, which will kick off in May next year.
Which is the better single: “Roar” or “Unconditionally”? How did Katy’s “Unconditionally” video live up to her past music videos? Sound off in the comments!
