Brittany Murphy’s Father Claims She Was Poisoned – Report
When Brittany Murphy tragically passed away nearly four years away, it shocked the world.
Now her father is suggesting that his daughter was poisoned, despite the L.A. coroner’s ruling that she died of natural causes.
According to “The Hollywood Reporter,” Angelo Bertolotti appeared on “Good Morning America” Tuesday to discuss his new claim that a new toxicology report he ordered tested positive for 10 heavy metals.
“I have a feeling that there was definitely a murder situation here,” he told “GMA.” “Yeah, it’s poison. Yes, yes, I know that.”
“GMA” reported that the lab found that her death could stem from “an exposure to these metals (toxins) administered by a third party perpetrator with likely criminal intent.”
Murphy died in December 2009, with her husband, Simon Monjack, passing away under similar circumstances several months later.
The L.A. coroner’s office that made the original ruling contested the new reports, telling ABC News, “WE have not seen the results and nothing has been presented to us. We stand by what we ruled on the case.”
