ABC's Midseason Schedule: “The Bachelor” Returns, “Revenge” Shifts

Since ABC has had a difficult fall, the network is betting on midseason to get them out of a ratings slump.

With hits like “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Scandal” to sit on the bench until late February to avoid repeats, the Alphabet Network has finalized its midseason plans.

According to “The Hollywood Reporter,” "The Bachelor" will return on Mondays, while the unscripted series “The Taste” and a new CIA series “The Assets” will take over on Thursdays for eight weeks.

Other January schedule changes include “Suburgatory” taking over for the now-cancelled “Back in the Game” and “Killer Women” replacing “Lucky 7” Tuesdays at 10pm.

Perhaps the biggest news is that after seeing major ratings declines this season, the Emily VanCamp-starring “Revenge” will move to the 10pm slot on Sundays in March, making way for a new drama called “Resurrection.”

ABC has also set the premieres for midseason entries “Mixology,” the first season of which takes place over the course of one night in a club, and “Mind Games,” which stars Christian Slater and Steve Zahn.
