Mischa Barton has stepped back into the spotlight, but recent reports suggested that she wasn’t exactly being welcomed back into open arms.
After Radar Online alleged that her ex-“The O.C.” co-star was lashing out at Barton because of bad behavior before she departed the show, both actresses are speaking out.
While she was accused of telling her other castmates that “it’s okay for everybody to wash their hands of Mischa and not forgive her past transgressions,” a rep for Bilson tells “The Huffington Post” that nothing could be further from the truth.
“The Radar Online ‘story’ is a complete fabrication. There simply is no truth to it at all,” her rep tells HuffPost. “No one from Radar Online checked in with Rachel or us for validity or comments. Rachel has no ill will toward Mischa – she has and will continue to wish her well.”
For her part, Barton took to Twitter, sharing a link to Perez Hilton’s version of the story, simply stating, “Hilarious.”
Bilson first sparked feud rumors in early 2012 in a Funny or Die video, where she rapped, “They been asking me, where you been? You should be asking Mischa Barton.”
