Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus Announced as Performers at the American Music Awards
Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus are about to go head to head again at this year’s American Music Awards.
Both stars are having a big year, including their memorable VMA performances, and now both have signed on to perform at the AMAs next month in Los Angeles.
While Cyrus had been previously announced, Gaga’s appearance is newly-announced, along with other performances from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Luke Bryan and Kendrick Lamar.
Their choice of songs has not yet been revealed, though it’s likely that Gaga will perform one of her newly-released songs like “Venus” or “Do What U Want,” while Cyrus could perform a third single from “Bangerz” or play it safe with “Wrecking Ball.”
The Artist of the Year award is split between a number a talented performers, including Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Justin Timberlake.
Maroon 5, P!nk, Robin Thicke, Carrie Underwood and Daft Punk are among the nominees in the night’s other categories, all of which can be seen over at Billboard.
