Liberty Ross is speaking out for the first time about her husband’s highly publicized cheating scandal last year.
Though Ross and even her estranged husband, “Snow White & the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders, might not be household names, Kristen Stewart surely is.
The “Twilight” star was snapped kissing Sanders in Los Angeles last year, and now Ross is opening to in a new interview with “Vanity Fair.”
“It was horrible. It was really the worst, really the worst,” she said of the media debacle, adding, “I have no words to describe what we went through. But I think, for me, something always has to completely die for there to be a rebirth. And, for me, I feel like I’m going through a rebirth.”
Sanders informed his wife, a model-turned-actress, of the affair less than a day before the photos showed up in “Us Weekly.” Though he publicly apologized, Ross chose not to attempt to work out their marriage.
“I’m not a quitter,” she told “Vanity Fair.” “I’ve done everything I could to be the perfect wife and mother and really support my husband. But I just’ didn’t have any more to give, you know?”
Though Stewart will be back for the “Snow White” sequel, Sanders will not, according to Radar Online.
