Kelly Clarkson is the proud new owner of a massive spread in Tennessee.
The inaugural "American Idol" champion and pop hitmaker has purchased a 17,321-square-foot home in Hendersonville, which features seven bedrooms nine bathrooms, a full gym, home theater, game room -- and an elevator.
Clarkson, who recently released a Christmas album called "Wrapped in Red," married Brandon Blackstock -- the son of her manager and Reba McEntire's stepson -- on October 20.
Clarkson tells us that getting to be related to McEntire is a definite perk:
"We're always never on the same schedule. We see each other randomly for dinners here and there. She's busy. She's out in L.A. a lot more too... She loves games as much as I do, so we just sit there and play all day. Backgammon is really the game of choice, or Sorry or Quiddler."
Clarkson is currently recording her eighth solo album, which is due out next year, and has also recorded a version of "Little Green Apples” with British pop singer Robbie Williams for his "Swings Both Ways" album, which comes out November 18.
