“50 Shades” Eyes “Once Upon a Time” Star as Charlie Hunnam’s Replacement
While Jamie Dornan might not have been Snow White’s prince, the “Once Upon a Time” star might end up in a romance of his own.
The Irish actor, best known for his role as Sheriff Graham on the first season of the ABC fairytale hit, is being pursued to replace Charlie Hunnam in the upcoming “Fifty Shades of Grey” adaptation, “The Telegraph” reports.
Dornan, who most recently starred on BBC’s serial killer drama “The Fall,” would take over in the role of Christian Grey opposite Dakota Johnson, who is still attached to the project.
If all goes well, “Fifty Shades” could still film in time for its scheduled August 2014 release, so long as Johnson does not back out as well.
The 31-year-old star got started in modeling for Calvin Klein, Armani and Dior, as well as romancing Keira Knightley for two years, before breaking into acting in the States.
