Edward Norton Set to Make “Saturday Night Live” Hosting Debut
After a few weeks of seasoned “Saturday Night Live” guest hosts, the show has nabbed a newbie in the form of Edward Norton.
Norton (“Fight Club,” “Red Dragon”), of course, is not new to the world of acting, but the star has never hosted the sketch series before, TV Guide reports.
After three weeks of original episodes, “SNL” will air a rerun this coming Saturday before Norton hosts on October 26.
Janelle Monae will appear as the musical guest, following up performances from Arcade Fire, Miley Cyrus and, most recently, Katy Perry.
Over the past three weeks, the series has featured guests like Cyrus, Tina Fey and Bruce Willis, all of whom have guest hosted in the past.
Though Norton may not have as much experience as the aforementioned trio, he has appeared on several sketches beginning in 1999.
“Saturday Night Live” airs Saturday nights at 11:35pm on NBC. How will Ed Norton do on “SNL”? Leave your predictions in the comments.
