The latest risqué trailer for “Machete Kills” brings Lady Gaga to the forefront, spotlighting her acting debut while also giving fans a preview of an unreleased track from her album.
One week before the outrageous flick hits the big screen, the video preview appeals to Gaga’s fans to see her in action as La Chameleon, while previewing her never-before-released song “Aura,” according to the official press release.
On Tuesday, October 8, a special lyric video for the full “Aura” track will be unveiled via the film’s official Twitter account, @MacheteKills, ahead of her soon-to-be-released third studio album, “Artpop,” due out on November 11.
The film is the sequel to Robert Rodriguez’s “Machete,” which starred Danny Trejo as a presumed-dead Federale who gets caught up in an assassination plot and must bring down a corrupt politician (Robert DeNiro).
For “Machete Kills,” “Machete is recruited by the U.S. President (Charlie Sheen credited as Carlos Estevez) to stop a crazed global terrorist (Mel Gibson) from starting a nuclear war.”
The follow-up features returning stars like Michelle Rodriguez and Jessica Alba, with new characters played by Sofia Vergara, Amber Heard, Mel Gibson, Antonio Banderas and, of course, Gaga.
“Machete Kills” blasts its way into theaters on October 11.
