One week before “Glee” pays tribute to the late Cory Monteith, the actor’s final coroner’s report has been revealed.
According to TMZ, that the 31-year-old star was found in his room on July 13, and along with two empty champagne bottles was “a spoon with drug residue and a used hypodermic needle.”
As previously reported, his official cause of death was “mixed drug toxicity, involving intravenous heroin use combined with the ingestion of alcohol.
In the report, the coroner allegedly suggested that Monteith’s death likely stemmed from a lower tolerance to the drugs after entering rehab back in April 2013.
A week from Thursday, FOX’s hit musical comedy “Glee” will air their episode that honors both Monteith and his character Finn Hudson, though the cause of Finn’s death will not be involved.
Instead, Monteith’s longtime girlfriend and co-star is rumored to be singing a song by herself in the final act, which is rumored to be Bob Dylan’s “To Make You Feel My Love.”
The show’s homage to Cory Monteith will air Thursday, October 10 at 9pm on FOX. Will you be tuning in?
