Good news for fans of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones!
The once-estranged couple has reportedly reconciled, with one insider telling U.K.’s “The Sun” that the couple is back on track.
“Michael’s asked Catherine to give things another try and she’s agreed,” the source said (via the “Daily Mail”). “It’s not just for the sake of the children.”
The two A-list stars have two children together, 13-year-old Dylan and 10-year-old Carys, as well as Michael’s son Cameron from a previous relationship, who is currently serving prison time on drug charges.
“When they’re good, they’re amazing together, so they’re hammering out their issues at their home,” the insider added. “It’s good news and Catherine is on top of the world.”
The duo announced their “trial separation” in August after several difficult years, including Michael’s throat cancer battle and Catherine’s bipolar disorder diagnosis, among other things.
While the pair still has work to do on their marriage, this is certainly a good sign for Michael and Catherine.
