Robin Thicke on His Marriage to Paula Patton: Exclusive Audio

Robin Thicke
is largely blowing off the latest controversy that's surfaced as he promotes his new album, "Blurred Lines."

Thicke took a photo with a female fan an MTV Video Music Awards party last month where he's shown grabbing her butt. His wife, actress Paula Patton, was nearby at the time.

Talking to Star, Thicke said that, "My only comment about the so-called scandalous photo would be that my wife and I are perfectly in love and very happily married. So no complaints here."

He also said the relationship is "the greatest love of the century, and the most functional, dysfunctional marriage in Hollywood."

Earlier this year, Thicke told us that he and Patton -- who married in 2005 and have a three-year-old son, Julian -- work hard at keeping their relationship strong:

"Just lots of communication and lots of great lovemaking, that's the key...It's a lot of pressure, but it`s my cross to bear. (laughs) I just realize that whenever you can't connect verbally, if you can still connect physically you can get through a lot of the verbal issues. It's non-verbal communication at it's best, absolutely."

"Blurred Lines" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in August but is mired in its own controversy because of claims that the chart-topping title track plagiarizes Marvin Gaye's 1971 hit "Got to Give It Up."
