Alec Baldwin may not have the best luck with paparazzi, but he and his wife Hilaria weren’t afraid to appear on camera for the big reveal of their newborn daughter.
The Baldwins sat down with “People” to talk about their new baby girl, Carmen Gabriela, and show her off for the first time.
Carmen, born on August 23, is the actor’s second child, as he has 17-year-old Ireland Baldwin with ex-wife Kim Basinger.
“It’s a second chance for me,” Alec told “People.” “Everybody knows I had a pretty unpleasant custody battle for Ireland.”
Part of his new shot at being a dad that he probably would rather not revisit is the sleep schedule. The “30 Rock” star joked, “She sleeps like a rock all day. And at night she’s like, ‘Let’s have a conference.’”
New mom Hilaria, 29, also shared what it was like playing parent to a newborn, saying, “I kenw I was going to love her a lot, but it’s incredible how deeply.”
