6/28 - 8/2 States of Mind: An Exhibit By Ella Kolanowska

Celebrated painter and jewelry artist Ella Kolanowska will debut her first solo exhibition in the United States at The Bazemore Gallery later this month. A native of Poland, Ella received her Masters in Fine Art from the Academy of Fine Arts in 1998 and has dedicated her life to creating transformative works of art and sculpture ever since. Ella’s inspirations stem from fashion, vintage fabrics, and historic scenes to which she translates into intricate pieces of art for the exhibition.   Her exhibition will feature fourteen awe-inspiring paintings that demonstrate her interpretation of the barrage of information we see on a daily basis and translating it into a larger image. Her complex works are the result of thousands of tiny brush points that create the illusion of a larger shape.  Kolanowska’s work invites the viewer to experience a tranquil representation of our lives through the movement of her intricate art.
