When Kristin Reilly heard the words “You have cancer” while she was pregnant with her daughter more than six years ago, her life changed forever. After a long and hard journey and undergoing two intense surgeries to remove vulvar cancer, Kristin feels blessed to report she is now cancer-free and living life to the fullest.
One year after her diagnosis, a co-worker asked Kristin to walk in a fundraising event - the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life - as a survivor.
On June 2, Kristin and the event committee will host their annual Relay For Life of New Hope at New Hope-Solebury High School. As you know, Relay For Life --the Society’s signature fundraising event --is typically a 24-hour fundraising event that unites the community by walking a track to celebrate survivors, remember those that lost the battle to cancer, and fight back against the disease that has taken too much.
