Hi, it's Movie Lover Marilyn Russell and I had the pleasure of speaking with Penelope Ann Miller about her role in "The Artist," which opens nation-wide this Friday (12/23). Nominated for 6 Golden Globes, "The Artist" is the story of silent film star (and yes, the film is a silent film), George Valentine who wonders if the arrival of talking pictures will cause him to fade into oblivion. Penelope portrays his wife in the film and you know her from such classics as "Carlito's Way," "Kindergarten Cop," "Chaplin," and one of my personal favs "Adventures in Babysitting." May I be so bold as to predict that "The Artist" will win the Globe for Best Picture (Comedy) on January 15th?

We loved him in "Wings," "Sideways," and more...now starring with Matt Damon in "We Bought A Zoo." Listen to my conversation with Thomas - sounds like he had quite a bromance with Matt Damon while making the film and is now a big fan of Cameron Crowe too!
He shares all the details on what is sure to be the big Christmas movie this year - looks awesome and he's a very Cool Guy ~ Marilyn
