At one point, this was intended for the group Loverboy. Jon Bon Jovi and Sambora started out writing it for them, but liked it so much they kept it for themselves. |

Great weather, Phillies, Fireworks, Free Ice Cream and awesome music...all the ingredients to enjoy yourself. You could start the weekend early tonight at the Keswick - The Wallflowers will perform. Aerosmith and ZZ Top are live at Hershey Park Friday July 3rd and check www.americasbirthday.com for the list of activities in and around Philly all weekend long. If you LOVE fireworks hit up www.6abc.com because they've put together a great list of local firework displays for the weekend. If you're shorebound, and you're not sick of hearing Michael Jackson songs, HOB in Atlantic City is doing a free Michael Jackson tribute Concert on the 4th. The big event is definitely Saturday night on the Parkway with live performances from Jeffrey Gaines, The Roots and Sheryl Crowe, followed by a Fireworks Extraganza. Have fun and stay safe! You know you can count on us for the musical variety this weekend and we love a good BBQ! |

 | Random Music Fact of the Day - Monday, June 29, 2009 34 Views :: 0 Comments :: Today's Random Music Fact of the Day is about the song Waiting On The World To Change by John Mayer. This song describes how most people deal with problems in the world. When Mayer sings, "Me and all my friends, we are all misunderstood, say we stand for nothing but there's no way we ever could," he's talking about his generation and their lack of faith in the government - all we can do is wait, and it seems like everyone is waiting for the world to become a better place. We sit on our hands and watch as the government takes control. This won a Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. |
